Domaine Laurent Gauthier Cote Du Py, Morgon, Beaujolais. Wow. Gorgeous.

I see Beaujolais in a new light. I visited several wineries here today to learn what it's heart & soul is about. It's not just about young new wines. This mature aristocrat is a 2006. It and the 2009 are stunning. Thanks to Aurélien Fiardet for introductions. A very attractive region as well.

At Frogpond Farm enjoying their organic Cab Franc Rosé. Elegant light color, lovely refreshing finish.

I also enjoyed the Gamay, Cab Franc, and Cab Merlot. A line of juices now too. All organic. A relaxing & pleasant place to visit in Niagara On the Lake.
