Borsao Tres Picos Garnacha 2010. Burgundy, cherry red. Aromas of ripe red berries with traces of floral. The flavours are ample & structured with notes of blackberries, strawberries, dark chocolate, leather, vanilla and plums. Sweet and pleasant tannins, with a long and smooth finish. The vineyards are 35 to 40 years old at an altitude of 600 to 700 metres. The yield is about two and a half tons per acre. Fermented in stainless steel, no oak. This is an outstanding wine. About $15 in the US, $22 in Canada.
